“The Nutcracker” as edited by choreographer Vasily Vainonen and with original multimedia scenery. Vainonen composed a play about a girl who dreamed of miracles, heard in Tchaikovsky’s music the harmony of candy-caramel childhood dreams and made a dance performance based on the traditions of 19th-century ballet.

“The Nutcracker” is a touching story about love, devotion, courage and nobility. Tchaikovsky's music, written according to the script by Marius Petipa, was first performed in a performance staged by Lev Ivanov in 1892 at the Mariinsky Theatre.
